PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of occasionally executing car inside operation prohibition processing, though a maintenance engineer gets on a car, when wirelessly connecting a maintenance tool to a wireless terminal.SOLUTION: A no-load detection part provided in an elevator maintenance device detects whether or not the car inside is a no-load state based on elevator state information read out of a recording part for recording the elevator state information received by a transmission-reception part. A control part sets execution of car inside operation prohibition processing for prohibiting operation of still applying a load to a car, as permission when detecting that the car inside is a no-load state by the no-load detection part. While, when detecting that the car inside is not the no-load state by the no-load detection part, the execution of the car inside operation prohibition processing is set as nonpermission.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
