PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce errors occurring to a simulation result of displacement of an isopycnic plane due to an ocean internal wave.SOLUTION: An internal wave displacement simulation device 100 has: an internal wave mode arithmetic part 10 which calculates a plurality of natural depth functions and a plurality of natural frequencies for a mode number by using respective composite horizontal wave numbers; a dispersion characteristic arithmetic part 20 which calculates a differential value by using the respective natural frequencies; a spectrum characteristic arithmetic part 30 which calculates spectrum characteristics by using the respective natural frequencies, a buoyancy frequency, and a Coriolis parameter, and converts the calculated spectrum characteristics into internal wave spectrum characteristics by using the differential value; and an internal wave displacement calculation part 40 which calculates internal wave displacement as displacement of an isopycnic plane in sea by using the respective natural depth functions, respective natural frequencies, internal wave spectrum characteristics, and respective components of horizontal frequency.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
