PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate rebound effects by comprehensively considering possible factors that may cause the rebound effects by use of ICT services.SOLUTION: A rebound effect calculation system includes: a time-term effect calculation unit that calculates, on the basis of an extra time generated by use of ICT services and a COemission basic unit per unit extra time, rebound effects in a time term as an environmental load generated based on the extra time; a cost term effect calculation unit that calculates a product of a result obtained by subtracting a product of the extra time and a cost consumption basic unit per the unit extra time, from an extra cost generated by the use of the ICT services, and the COemission basic unit per unit cost, as a rebound effect in the cost term; and a total rebound effect calculation unit that aggregates the rebound effect in the time term and the rebound effect in the cost term to calculate the total rebound effects.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
