PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fault point orientation system for a DC electric railway feeding circuit, which does not cause cost increase and can orientate a fault point accurately.SOLUTION: Each substation comprises: a voltage measurement device for measuring a feeding voltage; a current measurement device for measuring feeding current; a clock device capable of counting time and outputting clock-time information; and an information processing unit for periodically obtaining a feeding voltage, a feeding current and clock-time information for storage as time series information, and transmitting the stored time series information when a fault occurs. The fault point orientation device receives time series information at each substation from the information processing unit, extracts feeding voltage and feeding current in a prescribed time width from the feeding voltage and feeding current of each substation corresponding to clock-time information included in the time series information, applies averaging processing to the extracted feeding voltage and feeding current of each substation, placing the averaging-processed feeding voltage and feeding current of each substation into orientation formula for calculation, and locates the fault point to display the result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
