To provide a color conversion processing excellent in granularity and reducing ink consumption by securing a dot pattern with high dispersibility in half-tone processing using a dither method.SOLUTION: A color conversion LUT creation device comprises: derivation means that derives, for a plurality of virtual color materials the number of which is smaller than the number of actual color materials included in an image forming apparatus, an output value corresponding to an input image signal value; setting means that sets a target dot number to be a target number of dots recorded in a unit area of the actual color materials; and conversion means that converts output values from the plurality of virtual color materials to output values from the actual color materials such that the value of the total number of dots of the actual color materials matches the target dot number to create a color conversion LUT in which the input image signal value and the output values from the actual color materials are associated with each other. The setting means sets the target dot number on the basis of dispersibility of a dot pattern corresponding to a dither matrix for every gradation used in half-tone processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
