PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cushioning material for a paper cassette capable of preventing damage to a central portion of a power transmission part by suppressing amplification of vibration applied to the power transmission part.SOLUTION: A cushioning material 1 is used for packing a paper cassette 2. The paper cassette 2 includes a placement part 3, a pair of paper holding parts 5, and a power transmission part 6. A sheet is placed on the placement part 3. The pair of paper holding parts 5 move in a width direction Y to hold the sheet. The power transmission part 6 is connected to the pair of sheet holding parts 5. The power transmission part 6 transmits the power to move the pair of sheet holding parts 5. The cushioning material 1 includes a first regulation part. The first regulation part comes in contact with the pair of the sheet holding parts 5 which have moved closest and regulates the movement of the pair of sheet holding parts 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
