PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction system, a suction method, and a program that allow a user to smoothly suction a single cell without an additional process such as adding an agent and without changing the state of the cell.;SOLUTION: A suction portion mounts a tubular suction tip and suctions a specimen from the distal end of the suction tip. A signal processing portion, after the suction of the specimen is started, moves the suction tip at least once in a longer direction of the suction tip toward the distal end.
