PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search for the most suitable traffic facility from a plurality of pieces of traffic facility information and the circumstances of each individual user, and update the information on a real-time basis.SOLUTION: A traffic facility information providing server receives from a user terminal connected via a network a request for finding traffic facility information covering at least the starting point, the destination and the desired arrival time. A function to evaluate the traffic facility is provided having input parameters including conditions such as the destination and the desired arrival time, probe information and traffic information acquired from outside. And evaluation items of traffic facilities are weighted according to the circumstances of each individual user, the assessed value of each traffic facility is calculated by using the weighted evaluative function, and a traffic facility choosing screen on which traffic facilities are arranged in the descending order of the assessed value is generated to be presented to users.
