PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zeolite separation membrane capable of making a flux large, a separation member, a production method of the zeolite separation membrane, and a separation method of hydrocarbons.;SOLUTION: A separation member 1 is provided with a zeolite separation membrane 5. The average thickness of a random layer 17 in the zeolite separation membrane 5 is 2 μm or less. The average number of the crystal grains of zeolite in the random layer 17 in a thickness direction is small, such as 5 pieces or less. Thereby, an effect that the flux of a gas and a liquid permeating the random layer 17 (eventually, the zeolite separation membrane 5) is made large is obtained. Particularly, the average aspect ratio of the crystal grains of the zeolite constituting the random layer 17 is 2 or less and the abundance ratio of the crystal grains of the aspect ratio is 70% or more.
