PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle device inspection system, on-vehicle device inspection apparatus, on-vehicle device, and portable storage medium capable of minutely confirming the operation of the on-vehicle device without removing the on-vehicle device from a vehicle.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle device inspection system includes a portable storage medium and an on-vehicle device. The storage medium includes: a scenario area where an inspection scenario including an inspection program for performing the inspection of the on-vehicle device when executed by the on-vehicle device is written; and a result area where an inspection result is written by the on-vehicle device. The on-vehicle device includes: a connection section connectable to the storage medium in a mounted state on a vehicle; a reading section for reading the scenario from the connected storage medium; an inspection section for inspecting the on-vehicle device by following the read scenario; and a writing section for writing the inspection result in the storage medium.
