PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for electrochemical endotoxin concentration detection that makes it possible to detect an endotoxin concentration easily with high accuracy.SOLUTION: The present invention has a container 1 and a reagent 2 fixed in the container, the reagent including a C factor, a peptide compound having an oxidation-reduction substance bonded thereto, and a buffer solution component. A detection method of the present invention has: an introduction step for making the reagent and a test object contacted and forming a pre-reaction mixture that is a mixture of the components of the test object and the reagent before the termination of a release reaction; a reaction step for forming a post-reaction mixture that is a mixture after the termination of the release reaction that is accommodated in the container for electrochemical endotoxin concentration detection; and a detection step for making the oxidation-reduction substance released from the peptide compound included in the post-reaction mixture react with an electrode, and detecting endotoxin on the basis of a current value measured by an electrochemical reaction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
