To provide an unwinding processing unit and an unwinding assembly in which high degree of freedom at processing a reel is acquired, an unwinding device of the unwinding processing unit is miniaturized, and a processing operation of the reel is simply, efficiently and automatically executed, by reducing the risk of malfunction when a finished reel is replaced with a new reel.SOLUTION: An unwinding assembly (30) comprises a first unwinding processing unit (34') and a second unwinding processing unit (34") having robots (35', 35") containing wrists capable of moving under control of at least one electronic control unit (70). In the unwinding assembly (30), the unwinding processing units (34', 34") contain an unwinding device mounted on the wrists of the robots (35', 35").
