To provide a black member showing black having a high-grade feeling and excellent in productivity.SOLUTION: The black member includes a base material and a black layer laminated on the base material and including titanium nitride aluminum, titanium nitride silicon or titanium nitride aluminum silicon. The black layer may include at least one kind of elements selected from a group consisting of oxygen, fluorine and carbon, and when carbon is included, the carbon is included in an amount of 10 at% or less when the total amount of elements included in the black layer is 100 at% and has a relationship of L≤48.0, 2.0≤a≤3.0 and -3.5≤b≤3.0 in color evaluation by a L, aand bcolor system (a CIE color system).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
