PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security monitoring server capable of using calculation resources effectively.SOLUTION: A security monitoring server includes an origin specification unit for specifying the origin of information based on the received information, an attack detection detail level determination unit for determining the detail level of attack detection for the received information, an attack detection unit for executing attack detection based on the determined detail level for the received information, and a high order detection necessity determination unit for determining necessity of high order detection for the received information. When a determination is made the high order attack detection is necessary, the attack detection detail level determination unit re-determines the detail level of attack detection for the received information, based on the attack detection results.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
