PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately generate a summary from a text.SOLUTION: An abstract generating device includes an acquisition part and an extraction part. The acquisition part acquires a text containing a sentence. The extraction part extracts a sentence from the text, to be included in a summary, according to similarity of a first component contained in the text and a second component that has predetermined similarity relation with the first component among the second components contained in a target sentence which is a target extracted from the text as a summary.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
