PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily detect salt damage of an outdoor unit.;SOLUTION: A heat pump apparatus comprises an outdoor unit and has an operation part 41 and a display part 42, in which the outdoor unit has, in an outer frame 2, a suction port 14 for sucking in outside air and a blowoff port 15 for blowoff of the outside air, the suction port and the blowoff port are put in communication with each other to form an air blowing path 21, and the outdoor unit has an outdoor heat exchanger 17 and a blower fan 19 in the air blowing path and has a compressor 16, the outdoor heat exchanger and an outdoor control part 20 in the outer frame. The heat pump apparatus is provided with, in the outdoor unit, a corrosion sensor 36 that detects the progress state of corrosion caused by salt damage, a timer 46 counting a time from the start of use by initial power supply connection, and a memory device 47 storing a value T of the timer. When a predetermined value is detected by the corrosion sensor, the counted time T of the timer is stored in the memory device as a time T1 at which salt damage occurs, and a salt damage detection part for indicating the occurrence of salt damage is provided in the display part, so that salt damage is easily detected and maintenance work is facilitated.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
