To provide an improved binding portion testing device and an improved measurement method of a force inside the binding portion testing device.SOLUTION: A binding portion testing device includes: a testing tool assembly 200 having a testing tool 40 configured to contact a binding portion during a binding portion testing; a flexible portion 80 coupled to the testing tool assembly; and a sensor. The sensor is configured to provide a measurement value of a displacement to a second end of the flexible portion of a first end of the flexible portion 80 when a force is applied to the flexible portion. A processor receives a displacement signal from the sensor and determines the force of the binding portion selectively based on the displacement signal and the known rigidity of the binding portion. A method of measuring a cartridge for the binding portion testing device, a method for measuring the force inside the binding portion testing device, and the method for measuring a closure force of a jaw of the binding portion testing tool are also provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A
