PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow for suggesting a purchase guarantee which reduces a risk in purchase of a used article and is effective for a merchandiser to sell articles.;SOLUTION: A merchandising support system includes: a guarantee management unit 13 which manages information relating to a guarantee about repair and maintenance which a customer subscribes to when purchasing an article at a merchandiser 2 selling articles; and a purchase guarantee management unit 14 which, as long as there is the guarantee about the article relating to the customer when the article is purchased at the merchandiser 2 by the customer, manages information relating to a purchase guarantee service which the customer subscribes to.
