PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repair method of a bar screen type dust remover capable of restraining repair cost by reducing a place and a part of requiring repair, and capable of raking out and raking up dust captured between thin-mesh screen bars by a rake.SOLUTION: When replacing a bar screen S0 in a bar screen type dust remover J0 with a coarse-mesh/thin-mesh bar screen S constituted by arranging a coarse-mesh screen bar 11 and a thin-mesh screen bar 21 in parallel, the coarse-mesh/thin-mesh bar screen S is installed so that the rear edge of the thin-mesh screen bar 21 for constituting the coarse-mesh/thin-mesh bar screen S is positioned on the inflow side with respect to a position of the rear edge of the screen bar 10 and a front face of an apron 4 for constituting the bar screen S0 before repair.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
