PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently execute input image processing and output image processing in parallel in double-sided document reading.;SOLUTION: In performing input image processing on first read image data and second read image data obtained by reading both sides of a document in parallel, and performing output image processing in forming an image with the first read image data and second read image data, a first image processing unit performs the input image processing on one of the first read image data and second read image data at a timing at which the first read image data and second read image data are generated in an overlapping manner; a second image processing unit performs the input image processing on the other of the first read image data and second read image data at the timing at which the first read image data and second read image data are generated in an overlapping manner, and first read image data and second read image data at a timing at which the first read image data and second read image data are generated not in an overlapping manner; the first image processing unit performs the output image processing on the first read image data and second read image data.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
