PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an update method of tao factor and a decision feedback type equalization circuit, capable of realizing data transmission efficiency higher than before, without elongating the symbol length of training signal, in long delay wave environment.;SOLUTION: A signal outputted from a feedback filter having multiple delay elements imparting a prescribed delay amount for an inputted signal, and multiple taps executing weighting processing according to the tap factor to the signal outputted from each of the multiple delay elements, and a signal received from the outside are added, mark of the addition signal indicating an addition signal is determined, finite difference of a prescribed training signal or a determination signal indicating determination results and the addition signal is calculated, the tap factor of multiple taps included in one of multiple tap blocks is updated by using a first error signal indicating the finite difference calculated by the training signal, and the tap factor of multiple taps included in the remaining tap blocks is updated by using a second error signal indicating the finite difference calculated by the determination signal.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
