To provide multifunctional peripheral equipment capable of visually recognizing final results without performing complex operation, and having a user friendly customization interface.SOLUTION: Multifunctional peripheral equipment has a function for customizing a default user interface screen, or the user interface screen customized before. The user interface has a button consisting of an icon indicating a specific application, and a sentence indicating the content of this application. A mode for customizing the user interface screen is specified. Identification means identifies a button in the screen, when the customize mode is specified. When the button is identified, the content of at least any one of the icon and the application, on the user interface screen related to the application, is changed.
