PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor installation jig designed such that a sensor can be installed in close contact with a surface of a cylindrical member at the same pressure no matter who attaches the sensor, that eliminates any individual difference between workers, and that prevents insufficient installation pressure of the sensor and installation error.SOLUTION: A jig for installing a sensor to a surface of a cylindrical member comprises: a fixing member 2 fixed to a surface of the cylindrical member; a lid member 3 attached to the fixing member 2; and an elastic member 22 that brings the sensor 6 into pressure contact with the surface of the cylindrical member. On the fixing member 2, a pair of rail parts 11 are formed arranged in parallel with each other with a predetermined space therebetween. The elastic member 22 is arranged on the underside of the lid member 3, and the lid member 3 is attached to the fixing member 2. Thereby, the sensor 6 is brought into pressure contact with the surface of the cylindrical member by the elastic member 22, and the underside of the lid member 3 is set at a predetermined distance from the surface of the cylindrical member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
