PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcement method for a steel structure in which a reinforcement material is bonded on a surface of a steel member that constitutes the steel structure with an adhesive, the reinforcement method mitigating thermal stress generated on the steel member due to a temperature change and thereby offering sufficient reinforcement effect, and provide a laminated material for reinforcing the steel structure.SOLUTION: In a reinforcement method for a steel structure, a reinforcement material 100 is bonded on a surface of a steel member that constitutes a steel structure 200 with an adhesive 110. The reinforcement material 100 comprises a material 1 containing a reinforced fiber having a coefficient of linear expansion smaller than the steel member that constitutes the steel structure 200, and an alloy material 10 having a coefficient of linear expansion greater than the steel member. The material 1 containing a reinforced fiber and the alloy material 10 are lined up alternately on the surface of the steel member and bonded with the adhesive 110, thereby mitigating thermal stress generating on the steel member due to a temperature change in the steel member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
