PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly perform settlement even when a remaining amount is short.SOLUTION: A registration device 100 allows a storage unit to store data of transaction information to be settled in response to registration processing, receives an input of a charge amount to electronic money, adds data of the input charge amount to the storage unit, and outputs the data stored in the storage unit in response to completion of the registration processing. A settlement device 200 reads a balance of the stored electronic money to rewrite the balance, receives payment corresponding to an amount of payment, and in response to the payment equal to or greater than an amount of payment based on the data stored in the storage unit output from the registration device, processes settlement of transaction in which the amount of payment is generated, and when the data of the charge amount is included in the data stored in the storage unit output from the registration device, waits for payment of the charge amount, adds the charge amount to the balance of the electronic money through an electronic money processing unit, and updates the amount of payment to an amount obtained by subtracting the charge amount from the amount of payment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
