PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with a demand for a determination method capable of quickly evaluating a progress of glaucoma.SOLUTION: A determination assistance method is the method for assisting determination of a risk level of glaucoma in a subject. The determination assistance method comprises: a step of performing first rank assignment based on low frequency (hereinafter called as "LF") and high frequency (hereinafter called as "HF") being a heart rate variability parameter obtained from the subject; a step of performing second rank assignment based on the heart rate variability parameter LF/HF obtained from the subject; a step of performing third rank assignment based on the heart rate variability parameter selected from the heart rate variability parameter group comprising LF, HF, LF/HF.
