PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and system for setting scale information, without compressing the storage capacity of a computer device while enabling the display of image data according to a scale set to the image data.SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 for setting scale information comprises: scale setting means 12 for setting the scale information on a Web page specified by URL; scale information storage part 13 for associating the URL with the scale information to store the URL; and scale specification display means 14 for displaying the Web page corresponding to the URL stored in the scale information according to the scale information associated with the URL.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
