PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a POS terminal device, a POS terminal setting method and a POS terminal setting program capable of reducing setting operation.SOLUTION: A POS terminal device 1 comprises a first storage unit 3, a second storage unit 4 and a control unit 2. The control unit 2 reads out first setting information 6a from the first storage unit 3 and reads out second setting information 7a from the second storage unit 4. The control unit 2 compares a version number 6c included in the first setting information 6a with a version number 7c included in the second setting information 7a. If it is determined that the version number 6c included in the first setting information 6a is new, the control unit stores the first setting information 6a in the second storage unit 4 and runs settings of the POS terminal device 1 on the basis of the first setting information 6a. If it is determined that the version number 7c included in the second setting information 7a is new, the control unit 2 stores the second setting information 7a in the first storage unit 3 and runs settings of the POS terminal device 1 on the basis of the second setting information 7a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
