PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a two-dimensional code with high functionality by suppressing deterioration of data efficiency.SOLUTION: A two-dimensional code where specification data indicated by a binary code and real data are converted into a cell and these data are arranged as a pattern in a two-dimensional matrix state, and the two-dimensional code includes a basic pattern part including a position detection pattern. The basic pattern part includes: a position detection pattern for specifying a cell position; the specification data for determining sell arrangement except the basic pattern part of the two-dimensional code; and the real data having an encoded message to be recorded to the two-dimensional code. The two-dimensional code can arbitrarily set a recording amount of the specification data.
