PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic adjustment system and an automatic adjustment device such that when cash payment and electronic money payment are combined in adjustment of charge for use of a parking lot etc., and payment is deficient for the charge with only one of the electronic money and cash, what is called complementary payment using the other one is enabled so as to enhance convenience while maintaining speedy and simple processing.SOLUTION: A complementary payment processing part 91 provided to a control part 90 cooperates with respective parts so as to function as a complementary payment acceptance part which, when the balance is deficient in payment using one of cash and electronic money, accepts complementary payment utilizing the other, so that even if the payment is deficient for the charge only with one of the electronic money and cash, automatic adjustment processing can be performed which is enhanced in convenience while maintaining speedy and simple processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
