PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice hull breaking device which scatters rice hulls to a cylinder of a casing of the outer side with wind power of a rotary vane, at the same time, causes the rice hulls to pass through through-holes provided on the casing, makes the rice hulls smaller in size by breaking and shearing with the edges of the through-holes and decreases wear of the rotary blade.SOLUTION: A rice hull breaking device includes a rice hull processing part which scatters rice hulls to be supplied in the radial direction outer side. The rice hull processing part arranges a cylindrical screen formed of a plurality of through-holes on a cylindrical wall and a rotator which causes rotary plates to be radially attached within the screen and is pivotally supported in a casing 14, scatters the rice hulls charged into a sample charging port 12 to the cylindrical wall of the screen with a wind pressure of the rotary plate, causes the rice hulls to pass through the through-holles, discharges the rice hulls to a discharge path 14a within the casing and, at the same time, sends the rice hulls subjected to breaking to the outer side of the casing from a discharge port 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
