PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance evaluation method for accurately evaluating deterioration of GFRP-made facility that handles acidic substances in a high-temperature state of 60 to 90°C.SOLUTION: There is provided a maintenance evaluation method of GFRP-made facility which handles acidic substances in a range of 60 to 90°C, and is formed of two-layer structure GFRP in which a layer having acid resistance is provided for a surface of an inner surface side where acidic substances are held, in which infrared thermography measurement is performed from outside the GFRP-made facility while the facility is being operated, a plurality of positions of low-temperature parts where temperature is relatively low and a plurality of positions of high-temperature parts where temperature is relatively high are severally specified in temperature distribution of the facility obtained by infrared thermography measurement, and in the case where a difference between average temperature in region A having a plurality of low-temperature parts and average temperature in region B having a plurality of high-temperature parts is 3°C or less, determination is made that GFRP is deteriorated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5A
