PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an address determination method capable of easily determining an address of an object unit.SOLUTION: In an illumination control system 100, the address determination method includes: a transmission step (S14) in which, when a user makes an operation to press a setting button which is provided to an illumination control unit 20a, the illumination control unit 20a transmits a signal to an operation unit 30 responding to the operation (S13); and a determination step (S15) in which, every time receiving the signal, the operation unit 30 determines an address of the illumination control unit 20a which has transmitted the signal for giving an instruction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
