PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydroxyl group-containing modified ester-based copolymer capable of various modification as it has a hydroxyl group, favorably compatible with various reactive diluents same as a diallyl phthalate resin and adding excellent curability and emulsification resistance to an active energy ray curable resin composition containing the reactive diluent.SOLUTION: There is provided a hydroxyl group-containing modified polyester-based copolymer obtained by reacting (A) a copolymer having a carboxyl group and an aryl group in a molecule, (B) a polyvalent carboxylic acid anhydride and (C) a glycidyl compound having a polymerizable double bond in a molecule. There is provided a hydroxyl group-containing modified polyester-based copolymer, where (A) is a copolymer consisting of polymerizable unsaturated carboxylic acid (a1) which is acrylic acid or methacrylic acid, polyvalent carboxylic acid anhydride (a2) which is maleic acid anhydride, and styrene.SELECTED DRAWING: None
