PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based matte coating capable of providing an appearance of a coated film with suppressed glossy.SOLUTION: There is provided a water-based matte coating by dispersing at least (A) a polyurethane resin having no polymerizable unsaturated group and (B) a polymerizable compound having a polymerizable unsaturated group and no urethane bond, (C) a granular filler and optionally (D) a polyurethane resin having a polymerizable unsaturated group in a water-based medium with a percentage content of the (B) polymerizable compound of 5 to 70 mass% and a percentage content of the (C) granular filler of 4 to 30 mass% based on the total mass of the (A) polyurethane resin having no polymerizable unsaturated group, the (B) polymerizable compound and (D) the polyurethane resin having the polymerizable unsaturated group.SELECTED DRAWING: None
