Blood circulation simulator with simulated atrium

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood circulation simulator that comprises a simulated atrium and is capable of accurately simulating, with a simple configuration, a blood circulation system.SOLUTION: A blood circulation simulator comprising a simulated atrium circulates simulated blood in a circulation flow passage. The blood circulation simulator includes: a simulated vein 23 that is provided in the circulation flow passage and stores simulated blood; a simulated right atrium 11; an artificial valve 12 provided downstream of the simulated right atrium 11; a simulated right ventricle 13 provided downstream of the artificial valve 12; an artificial valve 14 provided downstream of the simulated right ventricle 13; and a simulated pulmonary artery 15 provided downstream of the artificial valve 14. The simulated right atrium 11 comprises: a housing; an elastic diaphragm for dividing the inside of the housing into an air room and a liquid room; and an inflow port and an outflow port for the simulated blood that communicate with the liquid room. The blood circulation simulator includes drive control means (driver 40, controller 50) for deforming the diaphragm by performing supply and exhaust of air to/from the air room, and making a pulsating flow of the simulated blood to be discharged from the outflow port by using variation in volume of the liquid room.
