The present invention relates to a composition (A) comprising dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), from 5% to 95% by weight relative to the total weight of the solvent system, and a composition (B) comprising at least one lactone. It relates to a solvent system comprising from 5% to 95% by weight relative to the total weight of the solvent system. The invention also relates to the use of solvent systems for the production of films, coatings, membranes, batteries, electronic circuits and protection of power distribution cables.
