PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To predict or prevent the occurrence of a breakout caused during casting, or measure the thickness of a solidifying shell, by a simple and inexpensive configuration.SOLUTION: During casting, a temperature within a mold is measured (step S100), and it is determined whether or not the temperature is a threshold Tor above.
