PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a sneaking video image that is generated using a multi-viewpoint camera system, easy to watch.SOLUTION: A video editing apparatus outputs a sneaking video image that is a video image just like a video image obtained when multi-viewpoint cameras disposed to enclose a subject sneak into the subject, by switching video images captured by the cameras along an arrangement of the cameras. The video editing apparatus comprises: subject enlarged video image output means which enlarges the subject projected in the video image captured by the camera, thereby outputting a video image in which a background portion captured in the video image is hidden; and sneaking video image generation means which generates and outputs the sneaking video image by using the video image outputted from the subject enlarged video image output means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
