PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior material capable of providing satisfactory appearance in a connection part between a panel material such as a roof panel and an insertion material such as a downpipe installed inserting through the panel material, and to provide a connection method between the panel material and the insertion material, a connection structure between the panel material and the insertion material, and a building outside structure.SOLUTION: An exterior material 12 covers a connection part 10 between a panel material 6 and an insertion material 8 which is inserted through a through hole formed in the panel material 6 extending in a vertical direction. The exterior material 12 is arranged to be disposed to allow the insertion material 8 through a hole, with the upper end of which is disposed close to or in contact with the lower face of the panel material 6.
