PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop and provide a method for readily and accurately discriminating invasive meningioma, particularly, between noninvasive meningioma and invasive meningioma which is difficult to discriminate in pathological diagnosis, is easy to diagnose as Grade I, benign meningioma, and further has a high recurrent risk, as well as is easy to transfer to malignant meningioma.SOLUTION: The invention provides a method for discriminating invasive or noninvasive meningioma in a subject on the basis of the manifestation profile of a specific gene obtained from the specimen derived from a subject.
