PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedal retreat prevention structure of an automobile which can prevent a forward tilt of a pedal bracket itself while preventing the retreat of a pedal by effectively utilizing a motion of a dash panel which turns and is displaced to a forward tilt direction by the retreat of a lower part of the dash panel.SOLUTION: A pedal retreat prevention structure of an automobile comprises: pedal retreat prevention means 26, 25, 5b and 25a which operate so as to displace a pedal 8 to a retreat prevention direction by being at least partially displaced upward while receiving turning displacement to a forward tilt direction in which a lower part 2B of a dash panel 2 relatively retreats with respect to an upper part 2A; and forward tilt prevention means 5 which prevents that at least a pedal shaft support part of the pedal bracket 5 is turned and displaced to the forward tilt direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
