PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a can making expander capable of reducing the problem of noise and facility maintenance cost and flexible in molding operation, a can making system, and a can making expander processing method.SOLUTION: The can making expander includes an expanding die 1 disposed inside a cylindrical body, having a plurality of segments 2, and configured to radially expand the segments and press the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical body to expand the diameter of the cylindrical body, and a driving device connected to a drive shaft 11 disposed inside the expanding die to carry out the diameter expanding/reducing operation of the expanding die. The driving device includes a motor 110, a rotary shaft 121 connected to the motor, and a ball screw 120 having a nut 122 engaged with the rotary shaft and connected to the drive shaft of the expanding die to expand/reduce the diameter of the expanding die.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
