PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a privilege awarding server and a privilege awarding system that award privilege to a user in response to provision of information by the user.SOLUTION: A server 6 is connected with a mobile terminal 1 comprising an NFC antenna 27 via a communication network N. By the NFC antenna 27 getting close to a commodity tag 3 storing commodity information including a shop code, the mobile terminal 1 obtains the commodity information and the shop code of the commodity tag 3 and stores them in a storage unit 20. The server 6 comprises: a clip information receiving unit 61 for receiving the commodity information and the shop code from the mobile terminal 1; a coupon identifying unit 62 for identifying a coupon usable for buying a commodity at a shop corresponding to the received shop code; and a coupon transmitting unit 63 for transmitting the identified coupon to the mobile terminal 1.
