PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coal ash processing method that increases a disposal amount of coal ash to a coal ash disposal site.SOLUTION: A coal ash processing method of the present invention comprises: an insertion step of inserting a tubular body 2 in the ground; a press-fit step of press-fitting slurry state coal ash in the ground from a press-fitting hole 40 opened on the tip or the vicinity of the tubular body 2 through the inside of the tubular body 2, while vibrating the tubular body 2 and liquefying the periphery of a striking part 5 of the tip of the tubular body 2 in the ground; and a striking step of striking a press-fit place by the striking part 5 of the tubular body 2.
