PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of conducting gas meter output analysis, using a general portable terminal device.SOLUTION: The portable terminal device includes: an input unit inputting a digital output signal obtained by A/D conversion of an analog signal output from a gas meter; a data conversion unit dividing the digital output signal input from the input unit for each specific period and comparing the average value of the digital output signal with a predetermined threshold value for binary conversion; and a telegraphic message conversion unit converting the data binary-converted by the data conversion unit into a telegraphic alphanumeric message.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
