PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate summary data formed by arranging character data relating to image data, in association with the image data.SOLUTION: A summary data generation apparatus 101 provides screen data 110 in a communication corresponding to a user belonging to a specific user group. The screen data 110 displays received character data 111-115 and image data 116, 117 received in the communication corresponding to members A, B, C belonging to a specific user group, in the order of receiving time. The summary data generation apparatus 101 extracts the image data 116, 117 of the received data.
