PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-valve type powder conveying device capable of effectively inhibiting a raw material powder from flowing reversely without providing a check valve such as a ball valve even when conveying the raw material powder from downward to upward and capable of effectively inhibiting the raw material powder from sticking in an inside of the powder conveying device, and a conveying method for a powder.SOLUTION: A non-valve type powder conveying device 100 comprises a discharge side opening end 12 and a supply side opening end 14, a conveying pipe member 10 in which a powder supply port 16 is bored on a peripheral surface, a connecting member 20 for connecting the conveying pipe member to a hopper 1, a piston member 30 inserted into the supply side opening end in the conveying pipe member, a driving member 40 for reciprocating the piston member, and an air supply member 50 for supplying air to a prescribed position of the conveying pipe member, and the connecting member has an inclined connection part 22 for setting an inclination angle of the conveying pipe member to a value in a range of 0 to 30°.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
