PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that more efficiently acquires a difference in directory information about the discretionary directory of a file system on and after a discretionary point of time.SOLUTION: The present invention comprises: a directory update history storage unit 11 for storing a history of directory information updates (a directory update history) for each directory in a file system 30; a directory update history update unit 12 for updating the directory update history of an updated directory when directory information is updated in accordance with various processing on the file system 30 by a file access processing device 40; and a directory update history reference unit 13 which, upon receiving information indicating a designated directory and a designated time as a request for the acquisition of a difference in directory information, extracts information on and after the designated time from the directory update history that is stored regarding the designated directory by the directory update history storage unit 11, and outputs the extracted information as a difference.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
