PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrocardiogram examination apparatus capable of performing waveform display that can be a better index for heart treatment.SOLUTION: An FFT 701 acquires a frequency distribution graph of an electrocardiogram by performing frequency component analysis for the electrocardiogram. An electrocardiogram peak period detection unit 702 detects a peak of a predetermined value or higher in the electrocardiogram, and calculates a period in which the peak appears. A display control unit displays the frequency distribution graph acquired by the FFT 701, and displays a frequency corresponding to the period calculated by the electrocardiogram peak period detection unit 702 in the frequency distribution graph in an identifiable manner.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
